Today was the Susan G. Komen Fashion Show, the contestants and reigning queens have been a part of this fundraiser for several years. The ladies always look great and do so far a great cause, breast cancer awareness and hopefully someday a cure.
Angie Williams sent me more information about the event her is what she had to say:
Susan G. Komen Fashion Show "Champagne and Tulips: Fashions for the Cure" @ Edwards Greenhouse in Boise. Angie and Blythe modeled clothes from Cherella's. Sonya modeled for Belle Boutique. Erika, Megan & Tammy modeled for Dillard's. Great fashion, silent auction, and goodies to eat. Everyone had a wonderful time! For more info: www.komenboise.org Additional note: The lady who is working on my costume is sewing fashions for post-mastectomy patients. She and two other women modeled the new fashions. Steve my husband does mastectomies and his patients ALWAYS ask him where to buy clothes and bras. So, they will be placing brochures in Steve's office! I'm so thrilled with all the "connections" that are made during the pageant process. Bobbi Fuller is the designer for the post-mastectomy clothes. Miriam Adamson is the seamstress. For more information, please visit:www.BobbiFuller.com - Fashion designs for women going through breast cancer treatments and those who have completed treatment. These clothing designs are for women who have had a single or a bi-lateral mastectomy or lumpectomy and find themselves searching for elegant, stylish and comfortable clothing options without having additional reconstructive surgeries or wearing breast prosthetics.

Thank you for the pictures, Erika, Sonya, Megan and Angie. I will posted more as I receive them from the other ladies in attendance.
