Blythe Johnston Mrs. Ada County is a huge supporter of the Special Olympics as she has a special needs son. Blythe hosted a team and was very involved during the games. I will posted more information when I get it from Blythe.
As a reminder this year the Mrs. Idaho America Pageant has elected to support the Special Olympics by having all funds raised as a result of the peoples choice votes will be donated to the Idaho Special Olympics. The Idaho Special Olympics has seen a 24% increase in participation as a result of the Winter Games but has not received additional funds because of the games. So the Mrs. Idaho America Staff felt this was a worthy cause.
